Dream analyzer

Read last night’s dream the way an analyst would

Write the dream down in your own words and the Analyst reads it in the Jungian method: every image treated as a symbol, your associations weighed against the archetypal pattern, and the question of what the dream is compensating for in your waking life. You get interpretation options, not a verdict.

Most dream interpretation AI hands back a dictionary entry, because it knows nothing about you and forgets the dream the moment the tab closes. This is built for the dreams that never reach a session, and for the mornings when there is no analyst nearby to bring them to.

How this dream analyzer reads a dream

The method is Jung’s, not a lookup table. A reading moves through four movements, because a dream is a message from a part of you that does not speak in plain sentences.

Amplification

Each image is taken in turn and circled rather than explained away. The Analyst gathers what it could mean to you — the house you grew up in, the ex, the exam you never sat — and sets that beside the wider, archetypal range the same image has carried through myth, religion and other people’s dreams. The symbol is held open, never reduced to one word.

Compensation

Jung read most dreams as compensating for the one-sidedness of waking life. So the reading asks what the dream supplies that your days leave out: the fear you have been too composed to feel, the ambition you keep postponing, the grief that has had no room. This is where the life context you add matters most.

The synthesis

The symbols are then drawn together into one synthesis — what the dream as a whole seems to be saying — followed by interpretation options rather than a single answer. You test them against your own recognition; the one that lands is yours to choose.

The ritual

A reading ends in a five-minute ritual and three reflective questions, so the dream is carried into the day instead of closing with the tab. Depth work has always asked that a dream be lived with, not only understood.

What a reading contains

It takes about ninety seconds. Members keep every reading in a private journal, where a three-month pattern view shows the images that keep returning — the patterns a single session tends to lose.

Why most dream interpretation AI falls short

A general chatbot can define a snake. What it will not do unprompted is ask what the snake means to you, notice that it is the third snake this month, or hold back from a verdict. Without your context and without memory, interpretation collapses back into the dream dictionary it was meant to replace. If you are wondering whether you are reading your dreams “right”, the honest answer is that a method matters more than an answer. Not therapy. Coniunctio is a depth-psychology practice tool, not therapy or a medical product. If a dream is bound up with trauma or a crisis, bring it to a qualified professional.

Common questions

Can AI interpret my dream?

Yes, within limits. An AI working in the Jungian method can do the patient work of a reading: naming each symbol, gathering its personal and archetypal range, and asking what the dream compensates for in your waking life. What it cannot do is decide what the dream means for you. A good reading offers options and leaves the recognition to the dreamer, and that is how Coniunctio is built.

Can ChatGPT interpret dreams?

ChatGPT can give a plausible general reading if you prompt it carefully. It is not built for dream work: it does not ask for the life around the dream by default, it leans toward one confident answer, and it does not keep your dreams together so patterns can show over months. Coniunctio is built around the Jungian analytic method, the voice of an analyst, a ritual after every reading, and a private journal.

Is this a Jungian dream analyzer?

Yes. Every reading follows the analytic method of C. G. Jung and the depth-psychology tradition after him: amplification of each image, the personal and archetypal layers, compensation, one synthesis, and interpretation options rather than a verdict. It is not a dream dictionary and it is not Freudian wish-reading.

Is my dream private?

Your dream is handled as sensitive personal data. It is sent to the AI provider only to generate your reading and is kept out of analytics. If you read a dream without an account, that free-use record is deleted after 30 days. Members keep their dreams in a private journal and can delete them at any time. The app and its database are hosted in Germany.

What does it cost?

Membership is $139.99 a month with a 7-day trial, or $79.99 a month billed annually ($959.88) with a 14-day trial, and every plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Your first reading needs no account and costs nothing.
