Coniunctio reads dreams in the Jungian analytic method, in the voice of an analyst, the morning after the dream. It exists because most dreams are forgotten by breakfast, weekly analysis costs $600–1,200 a month, and most people doing inner work have no analyst nearby at all.
The name comes from coniunctio, the alchemical and Jungian term for the union of opposites in the psyche — the conscious surface meeting the unconscious depth.
Who makes Coniunctio
Coniunctio is an independent product, built and run by a small team rather than a lab or a wellness brand. We build one thing: a serious place to work your dreams. The Analyst’s instructions are written against the depth-psychology tradition — Jung’s Collected Works and the analytic literature after him — rather than against what sounds pleasing.
The method
Every reading follows the same analytic sequence. Each image is amplified: its personal associations are gathered and set beside the archetypal range it has carried in myth and other dreams. The reading asks what the dream is compensating for in waking life, draws the symbols into one synthesis, and offers interpretation options instead of a verdict. It ends in a five-minute ritual and three reflective questions, so the dream is carried into the day. The full method is set out in Jungian dream analysis.
The voice: the Analyst
Readings are written in one voice, which we call the Analyst: clinical, neutral, observational and methodical, the way a Jungian analyst speaks in session. The Analyst does not praise the dream or the dreamer, avoids new-age vocabulary, and is comfortable leaving a question open. It offers possibilities and leaves the recognition to you.
What it is not
- Not therapy. Coniunctio is not therapy, a medical product or a crisis service. If you are in distress, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
- Not a dream dictionary. No symbol has one fixed meaning; the same image reads differently in different lives.
- Not a replacement for an analyst. It complements analysis, for the dreams that arrive between sessions and the months when there is no session at all.
- Not fortune telling. No omens and no predictions — a dream is read as a message from the psyche, not about the future.
Your dreams, handled as sensitive data
Dreams, life context and notes are treated as sensitive personal data. The app and its database are hosted in Germany; dream text is sent to the AI provider only to generate a reading and is kept out of analytics; a dream read without an account is deleted after 30 days.
